Millennium for the Mac is a single user or true cross-platform multi user system (virtually unlimited simultaneous users) using MSDE and/or SQL technology containing the following sections; Multi-Language Invoicing, Sales, Purchases, Nominal & Cash, Tax, Stock, Stock Parts Explosion, Sales Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing, Job Tracking & Costing, Point of Sale-EPOS, Barcode Labelling, Product Tracking, Macros, Multi-Departments, Multi-Currency with Euro (ECU) currency support and Multi-Warehousing. It includes user definable expanded nominal account structures and reports with increased sized money fields throughout for international use. All account and stock description fields are larger and the stock section includes the facility to invoice in virtually an unlimited number of languages, together with a country localisation facility. Links to and from other applications can be made via AppleEvents and ODBC/OLEDB connectivity thus allowing user custom 'front ends' or specialised 'report writing' to be generated in such as Excel, FileMaker, etc. Full monthly management reports through to Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Financial Position over 3 years. Colour, large screens, barcode reading and complete OS X (to 10.6.6) & System 8.5 - 9.2.2 support for the full range of current Macintosh and PowerPC computers is included in every section. Note, Mac OS 10.7 and onwards is not support... at the moment, please read on here Millenniun and OS 10.7
For your reference, Sybase, Oracle and MySQL are some of the other Server technologies that we may be supporting in the near future. If you are interested in using Millennium with one of these Server technologies, please send us an email to let us know.
It is designed for the larger company, the holding company of a group, companies and retail outlets selling or accounting for stock or time, companies which require Multi-Currency or Multi-Location Stock, and companies trading internationally.

All modules are fully integrated with all transactions, results and reports being shown and calculated as they occur in real-time, ie as they happen. There is no later batch processing or updating to be done.
The Nominal Account structure and layout is user-defined thus giving total flexibility within your own company.
User-Defined Nominal Accounts
Up to 100 Departments can be specified thus giving Consolidated or Departmental accounting and reporting.
Multi-Department Structure
The picture shows a typical use in an exporting company as Millennium for the Mac can raise the invoice in the customer's applicable currency, including the Euro, and language.
Millennium for the Mac also handles multiple stock locations for companies who despatch from various warehouses.

System Requirements for Millennium Lite for Mac: In order to operate Millennium Lite for Mac you will need a Power Macintosh or iMac machine running OS X (see above) or Mac OS 8.5 to 9.2.2 plus a PC running Windows NT/2000/2003/XP and either the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) or Microsoft SQL Server 6.5/7.0/2000.
System Requirements for Millennium Office for Mac: In order to operate Millennium Office for Mac you will need a Power Macintosh or iMac machine running OS X (see above) or Mac OS 8.5 to 9.2.2 plus a PC running Windows NT/2000/2003/XP and either the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) or Microsoft SQL Server 6.5/7.0/2000.
System Requirements for Millennium Enterprise for Mac: In order to operate Millennium Enterprise for Mac you will need a Power Macintosh or iMac machine running OS X (see above) or Mac OS 8.5 to 9.2.2 plus a PC running Windows NT/2000/2003/XP and either the Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) or Microsoft SQL Server 6.5/7.0/2000.
SQL Server: Please note that if you do not have the necessary Microsoft SQL Server software, please go to http://www.microsoft.com/sql/evaluation/trial/default.asp to obtain a FREE 120 day fully working evaluation CD of SQL Server 2000.
Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE): Please note that if you do not have the necessary Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE) software, you can obtain it from the following sources:
a) You can download the MSDE Run-Time Installer with one of our fully working Millennium demonstration systems by going to the AstrA Download Centre.
b) If you use any Microsoft products such as Microsoft Office 2000 and Visual Studio 2000, you may already have the MSDE Installer on these software CDs.
c) We can supply you with the freely distributable MSDE Installer on CD for a small administration fee of £15.00. To do this, simply go to our AstrA Millennium ordering section and click the MSDE CD (Media Cost) '+1' button to add this to your Shopping Basket.
